WORKPLACE ETIQUETTE WORKSHOPS AND RESUME WRITING SERVICES
A series of professional development classes will be offered to build members' business and workplace etiquette skills. The computer lab will teach and facilitate job seekers on how to navigate and complete online applications, create a winning resume, improve interview skills, and use emails when seeking employment effectively. (This program is a work in progress. Workshop dates will be announced at a later date.)
BASIC COMPUTER CLASSES
Introduction to Computers, Introduction to the Internet, Entrepreneurship 101, and Introduction to Web page Design will be offered quarterly. Individual classes and adult tutoring available too for free or at a low cost. These classes will help increase computer literacy skills and prepare individuals for the 21st Century workforce. (This program is a work in progress and the course dates will be announced at a later date.)
CHILDREN AND TEEN READING AND TUTORING PROGRAMS
Special accelerated reading E-books used in Clarendon County school districts will be made available to students. The computer lab will offer summer reading programs with rewards. Tutoring will be available upon request. (Dates to be announced)
